Victoria police declared in a statement on Wednesday evening that the man died on the scene.
“The police will prepare a relationship for the coroner after the death of a man in St Kilda on Wednesday 26 March,” said a spokesperson.
“The emergency services were called in a theater at the bottom Explanade around 9:00 pm. A man, who has yet to be formally identified, died on the scene.”
The ambulances could be seen outside the Palais Theater while the customers were forced to leave the show.

The SuperShow was the first four -week festival event and boasted online “constant formation from stars with a comic royalty from all over the world”, hosted by the comedian Michael Hing.
