“Suddenly the entire building started moving, there were immediately screams and very panic,” said Fraser Morton, a Tourist from Scotland, who was in one of the many shopping centers of Bangkok for the cameras equipment.
“At the beginning I just started walking calmly, but then the building started to really move, yes, a lot of screams, a lot of panic, people who run at the bottom of the mobile stairs, a lot to beat and crash into the shopping center.”

The Myanmar bridge collapses, the damaged highway
Myanmar is in the middle of a civil war and many areas are not easily accessible, so it was not immediately clear what rescue efforts the military would have been able to provide.

In the Sagaing region south-west of Mandalay, a 90-year-old bridge collapsed and some sections of the highway that connected Mandalay and the largest city in Myanmar, Yangon, were also damaged.
The residents of Yangon rushed out of their homes when the earthquake hit. There have been no immediate reports of injuries or deaths.
