Squirt d’acqua by Vaclav Cernly showed “lack of respect” – boss of the Celtic Brendan Rodgers

The Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers believes that the Ala di Rangers Vaclav Cerny has shown a “lack of respect” with its celebrations that ring the water in the old derby.
The International of the Czech Republic, which had been withdrawn five minutes before Hamza Igamane grabbed a late winner, aimed at the content of a bottle of drinks to the fans of the house while running on the touch line in the aftermath of the goal.
“I understand that Jubilation and Rangers players have every right to celebrate with their supporters,” said Rodgers.
“Come to Celtic Park, as it would be when we go to Ibrox, win a game of that greatness, celebrate. But not in that way.”
Thursday, Barry Ferguson, Rangers’s boss, Barry Ferguson, said Cerny got a “not very excited”, adding: “I have no problems with that”.
But Rodgers was clear that he would not represent similar actions.
He continued: “It’s respect, it’s not true? I think it’s a lack of respect if somehow a player runs on a contact line and is splashing a bottle of water in the face of a supporter. I would not like my players to do it.
“Listen, it works in both ways, very much also in players, from the stands, to the coaches, to the managers and the players.
“But I think we all know that there is a line that we should not go through. It is a very emotional game, an incredible appointment, and I thought it was nice to have fans (away), I think it has also given it a little more.
“But I just think there are lines that we cannot antagonize because in this device in particular, this can lead to a problem.”
