James Anderson: the record holder in England does not exclude another three years at Lancashire

Anderson referred to his friend’s career and former teammate Glen Chapple, who played Lancashire until he was 41 years old. The handyman of the Kent Darren Stevens was 46 years old when he played his last first -class game in 2022.
“I know my body can take a lot when it comes to bowling in the four -day cricket,” Anderson said. “I feel lucky to be in this position, I want to give as much as possible.”
Anderson’s decision to withdraw from the international service came after the England coach Brendon McCullum and the captain Ben Stokes decided to want to build an attack for the future.
He was given an emotional farewell in the first test against the western Indies at last July.
Speaking on Tuesday, he said that the proof that England was not part of its motivation to continue and said it is doing it because of its “love” for sport.
“The best part of playing a team sport is to win like a team, and if your attention moves away from this it is not as fun and you don’t perform the same,” he said.
Anderson did not play the cricket from the western indie test, even if he had a complete pre-auction with Lancashire and has bowling in the nets while working as a bowling coach in England.
He does not have a formal role with England and could still work with the team during the summer, but he said that playing for Lancashire will be his priority.
“I want to play a good game, so it’s what I told them,” Anderson said.
“I want to give priority to play cricket for Lancs.
“If there are opportunities during the summer in which they want them to enter and do things, we will have to cross that bridge.”
Anderson’s agreement at Lancashire, where he has played all his career in the county, covers the cricket T20, which means that he could make a first appearance in format since 2014.
It was recorded for the one hundred draft this year but It was not selected.
In his only exit for Lancashire in the County Championship last summer he took 7-35 against Nottinghamshire in Southport.
