James Anderson: the record holder in England does not exclude another three years at Lancashire

Anderson referred to his friend’s career and former teammate Glen Chapple, who played Lancashire until he was 41 years old. The handyman of the Kent Darren Stevens was 46 years old when he played his last first -class game in 2022.

“I know my body can take a lot when it comes to bowling in the four -day cricket,” Anderson said. “I feel lucky to be in this position, I want to give as much as possible.”

“I want to play a good game, so it’s what I told them,” Anderson said.

“I want to give priority to play cricket for Lancs.

“If there are opportunities during the summer in which they want them to enter and do things, we will have to cross that bridge.”

Anderson’s agreement at Lancashire, where he has played all his career in the county, covers the cricket T20, which means that he could make a first appearance in format since 2014.

In his only exit for Lancashire in the County Championship last summer he took 7-35 against Nottinghamshire in Southport.
