Eddie McGuire on AFL Grand Final, it acts Move, State of Origin, International Rules Series

So, if the AFL can reject your device a couple of weeks and insert the NFL game on the deadly weekend of the pre-finished and detestated pre-fines and more by -ys-by-by more, the League safeguards its finals.
Formula 1
Pushing the start of the season back helps to avoid a clash with the F1 at Albert Park, which should be part of the thought.
This is a furphy. Ok, of course, it is probably better not to go to the head with another event that attracts big crowds but PFFT, has not almost hurt the FL to date, and it is not worth moving an entire season.
While there is undoubtedly a lot of Oscar platelets on the track, Collingwood played Port at MCG on Saturday evening of the GP weekend this year and got 63,000 people. They are not the engines that remain distant to droves.

Melbourne and GWS played at the ‘G on Sunday at the same time as the Grand Prix. That game got only 23,000 fans, but it is not a bad crowd for those two teams. Missercardiously, the F1 did not include Range Rovers or Volvos or nobody could have been at the pole at all.
Try the cricket at ‘G in March 2027
There is something in this but not much. The cricket will play a game between Australia and England commemorate 150 years of Test Cricket at MCG in March 2027 And the AFL will have to adapt around it. The logic is that by pushing the season back, it helps the ‘g and the cricket.
This is a bit true. Based on the existing contract, the cricket has the MCG until the end of the second week of March, so there is already a window. They could play cricket in the second week of March, snatch the field and still have the ground ready for football.
Pushing the AFL season to start later, however, would give more space.

Historically, the AFL device has dependent on access to MCG. As the first land of cricket – the suggestion is in the name – the cricket had the first Dibs on the site. So technically the cricket has the ground from 1 October until the end of the second week of March.
This is the contract, but the reality is now different. The days of 10 or 11 days of international cricket at the MCG ended. This summer there will be the Santo Stefano test and only a game of Twenty20, on the weekend of the Melbourne Cup.
Domestic cricket is practically aimed at the junction oval if they need the ground for a more profitable alternative, like a concert. Or an AFL match or an almost-AFL game of drawing as a state of international origin or rules.
So, on the state of origin?
CEO AFL Andrew Dillon said at the beginning of this year that he was interestedIn principle, with the idea of relaunching the state of origin.
Eddie suggested that the next two seasons could start with a awakening of the state of origin, probably played in two weekends.
Without a doubt the broadcasters would be crooked at thought. Players usually say that they would love the state of origin. Coaches less.
International rules
Eddie has not increased the series of international rules with Ireland as part of this revision of the device, but it is certain that they approach any serious speeches of the wider AFL calendar.
Josh Mahoney and Ned Guy of AFL this week returned from a trip to Ireland where they met the Gaa for reviving the series.

Do not only go to Ireland only for a guinness (even if this is an excellent idea) unless you are eager to bring the series back. The Irish are interested.
Whatever the reasons for the change, and there are some Moots, the first is the best. Put the season because the end of March is a much better moment to start and October a good time to finish.
