UFC Sydney’s dark matter event canceled after the alleged assassination conspiracy of Suma Mokhtaria

A mixed martial arts event has been canceled among the fears that a former UFC fighter and coach could be the target of an alleged Gangland blow on the fighting evening.
The new South Wales police stopped the Dark Mother Fighting Championship, which took place on April 19 at the William Inglis Hotel in Warwick Farm, from going forward after receiving the intelligence that the former UFC fighter Suman Mokhthaner was the target of an alleged assassination conspiracy to be carried out at the event, Ben Fordham of 2GB reported.

Mokhtarian survived an alleged attempt to hit the Australian gym of Top Team in Wentworthville in February last year, when a man presumably posing when a food delivery pilot opened fire.
On March 31, the police of the New South Wales wrote to Dark Mother Fighting Championships promoting Andrew Delmas, notifying him that he would not have supported the issue of a permit to keep the fight night after “comes to the conclusion that there is a serious risk for public safety if this event took place”.
Shortly thereafter, the combat sports authority of the new South Wales recommended to Delmas that she had refused to issue permission.
Delmas said that the police had advised him that there were concerns about the safety of some fighters listed to compete, but he would not have specified who could be targeted and raised concerns that the William Inglis Hotel was a “high security risk”.
“I don’t know what happens in the background,” said Delmas said Herald.
Andrew Delmas, promoter of the Dark Mother Fighting championship, says he is working with the authorities so that the event can go on on April 19th.
Delmas said he was negotiating with the new South Wales police and the fighting sports authority to find a solution to allow the event to move forward and identified a possible alternative location.
