A tiger is desperate to play for the new South Wales. Another would never have played for Queensland
Terrell May has never seen his father cry. But one of the front-rowers in the form of the game says that his father, Jay, admitted that he will make tears if his boyfriend will be selected for the team of the State of origin of the new South Wales.
While the teammate of Wests Tigers Jahream Bula stressed that he has no interest in representing Queensland – he identifies himself as a new southern Welshman, despite being not admissible for the blues – May can add to his credentials by producing a great match against Brisbane Origin Stars Pat Carrigan and Payne Haas to a wedge and hostile Suncorp Stadii on Saturday.
May’s consistency attracted the attention of the Blues coach Laurie Daley, who can only hope that artists of the caliber of Haas, Sydney Galders Firebrand Spencer Leniu, Stefano Utoikamanu of Melbourne, all remain in shape and remain in line for the selection.
On May 25, who grew up in Sydney’s Western suburbs, he said he had never seen a lot of rugby alloy to grow, but he has always made a point of tuning on the origin.
“I love the arena of origin and I have heard so many stories about the level of (intensity) – I would lie if I said I didn’t want to play,” said May on Thursday.
“One of my biggest goals and dreams is to put on a blues shirt.

“My father said that if I had ever done, he cried for the first time in front of me. It would be nice to see him. I hope (cries). Otherwise, I will cry.
“We had school fights with the guys who went to Queensland but were born here (NSW). I don’t care if you were born in Queensland and go for Queensland, but if you were born here and go for Queensland, you are not good in my book.”
