“What I find true is that there are some things that the government has always done in secret and this is only the way to do business, because not everyone cares about our interests in the way we care about our interests,” he explained.

“From time to time there must be some secret action,” he said. “Not everything can be transparent. What I find interesting on these particular stories, and on many stories they have to do with the government, is that when you see what has been done, you realize that these are only imperfect people who try to do, in some cases, the best they can.

“It may be fun, but on the other side of the spectrum, some of these actions have really damaged people, so it’s not so funny,” he added.

The first episode, presented in preview on Friday, focuses on “secrets and heavens”. It describes in detail how an aerial crash in the North Carolina has almost triggered nuclear army. And, of course, there is talk of Area 51, a remote US military base, previously top-secret, which has long been the subject of UFO and the alien tradition of Space.

Duchovny hopes that the episode will show off wrong ideas and illuminate the spotlight on the experts who have weighed.

“These files that we are dealing with on the show are declassified and for the reasons for the protection of living people, many files will be classified for the duration of their lives, the duration of the life of a normal person,” he said.

“So, these are real stories that we are revealing for the first time as they have been declassified. And this is interesting. So, whatever we are telling you of Area 51 is coming out of the government files, it is much better than getting out of me.”

But unlike Mulder, Duchovny is also a little skeptical.

At the end of 2024, Many mysterious drones have been reported On New Jersey and through the Eastern United States despite the many theories that float rapidly, the star says he knows exactly what they were.

“I think they were drones,” he chuckled. “Usually, I go to Occam’s razor, which is the simplest explanation is the real one, and this would be for me.”

Duchovny could be on something. The FBI, the National Security Department and the state agencies investigated the sightings, but the officials have said that there was nothing so far to suggest that none of the drones represented a threat of national security or public safety. The authorities said that many of the sightings were legal drones, crew planes, helicopters and even stars.

There are also “JFK files”. In March, over 63,000 records of records relating to 1963 Assassination of President John F. Kennedy they were released following an order by President Donald Trump. On Tuesday, Oscar director Oliver Stone, Whose 1991 “JFK” film played Kennedy’s assassination as the work of a conspiracy of the dark government, asked for a new congress investigation.

Duchovny is not convinced.

“The interesting thing about the declassification of JFK files is that there is no new information on a conspiracy because there is no conspiracy. There is no conspiracy,” he underlined.

“It is usually my point of view, it is that there are some bad actors, there are some people who commit crimes,” he said. “There are some people who work for the government who commit crimes in any name they say they do. But there is no great conspiracy and there is no new information on these large conspiracy ideas. I could be wrong, but this is my feeling.”

“I have no other topics that I would like to see uncovered,” he reflected. “But I’m sure they exist. And I’m sure they come to my attention, they will be interesting. But I don’t have it … I find life in front of me just as interesting as one of these stories.”

And then there are aliens. He claimed that given the size of the universe, so we are certainly not alone. But Duchovny has admitted not to think about “extraterrestrial things”.

“What you realize when crossing a series like this is, yes, there may be conspiracies, but usually there are conspiracies between three or four people, five people, 10 people,” he said. “There is no great conspiracy in progress and there has never been … these are only individual small groups of human beings who seek some strange s — sometimes to achieve their goals. But there is no great conspiracy.”

And if they were there, nobody would have kept him for a long time, he said. For him, life alone “is a meeting with the inexplicable”.

Noted that “declassified secrets” He attracted him because he was based on what was most interested: the truth.

“I was looking at all these conspiracy theories that floated in this world today and I did not believe in 99% of them,” he said.

“And then I thought, this is interesting because these are the types of stories that people have many theories, yet, this is the truth. I am sure that it will not prevent people from thinking about conspiracy, because they think it is only another part of the conspiracy, to go out with the truth. But … the truth is stranger than fiction.”
