Ange Postecoglou: Tottenham Boss “not affected” by abuse by some supporters

The head of the coach of Tottenham Ange Postecoglou says he is not influenced by the abuse he receives by some supporters of Spurs and “will continue to fight”.
Spurs has undergone their sixteenth defeat in 30 games of the Premier League this season with the 12-0 defeat on Thursday evening at Chelsea.
Posticoglou covered his ear in the direction of the SPRS travel fans after the deputy Pape Sarr, whose introduction was whistled four minutes earlier, scored a draw that was subsequently not allowed.
When asked if the abuse of some fans goes too far, Postecoglou said on Friday: “No, I’m fine. I’m not influenced. I will continue to fight all my career.”
He added: “I understand that they (the fans) are frustrated and angry. At the same time, I understand the criticisms towards me. But if someone looked at the players and said that they are not trying – then I’m sorry they are not looking at the right game.”
The Spurs are 14th in the table with eight left games – a place above the worst goal of the Premier League in 1994 – and on the route to end up outside the top 10 for the first time in 17 years.
