Ja Morant fined $ 75,000 for arms gestures

Morant made the gesture for the first time on Monday against the Golden State Warriors and reports reported that the NBA was investigating the accident, giving Morant and Buddy Hield a warning.
Thursday evening, Morant did it again, just five minutes in a game.
Considering the story of Morant with suspensions related to weapons, The gesture exploded in the world of basketball. Eight games was suspended in March 2023 after brandishing a gun on social media at the Stip Club of Shotgun Willie outside Denver.
So Morant was suspended for the first 25 games of the 2023-24 season after showing a gun again on a video on live social media.

In view of the suspensions, Morant found himself in trouble more than one occasion, including an accident in which he quarreled with a seventeen year old during a Pick-up basketball game at Morant’s house. A judge later ruled Morant acted for self -defense. Four days before, Morant would have “threatened” the head of security in a Memphis shopping center and a member of the Morant group would have pushed the security officer on his head.

Morant was also put under a microscope after a game of January 2023 in which an unidentified individual was accused in the vehicle of the NBA star shining a laser pointer to the bus of the Indiana Pacers team. It happened after some members of Morant’s entourage were involved in a clash with a group of people on the Pacer travel party.
