“We are approaching” – England builds momentum with the victory of Belgium

The midfielder Walsh considered it was a “free flow” performance of the team – and it could not have been a better night for her personally.
The 27 -year -old had never experienced the feeling of marking a senior goal for his country before Friday.
Wiegman said that there was later “joy” for Walsh – and the team joked was a goal because his strike took a deflection before beating the goalkeeper of Belgium Nicky Evrard.
“I am really enthusiastic. It took a great deflection, but a goal is a goal,” said Walsh later.
“All the girls are super happy for me, which is really a good feeling. In the end I had one at the end. To some of them like to remember how long it has passed, but I am in seventh heaven and it is really nice to be out of the mark.
“It is up there as one of my favorite games. In general with the team’s performance, we played very well on the forward football and it was a nice evening to be part of.”
Walsh was not the only one to try the joy of a first goal in England while Chelsea Beever-Jones teammate came out of the bench to score.
The inaugural goal of the 21 -year -old striker has come to his fourth appearance, having received a first call in May last year.
“In reality I can’t believe it. He hasn’t struck me yet. I think I am more buzzing for Keira (Walsh) if I am honest,” said Beever-Jones.
“I played in this stadium before and scored before, so I had a good feeling of entering.
“I am proud to keep my feet on the ground and to work hard and with very hard work you get moments like this. I am so happy to have taken it well. It is so surreal and a dream become reality.”
