Pistons beat the Raptors to conquer the first place of playoffs since 2019, completing the important turning point

TORONTO – Before even getting on the floor of the Scotiabank Arena Friday, the coach of Detroit Pistons JB Bickerstaff shed light on a phrase with which his team concluded morning shooter. The saying with which the pistons broke the haste with which it was short: “another”.
While BickersTaff said that he and his technical staff implemented the mantra as soon as he arrived in Detroit, the term had more weight on Friday. This is because the Pistons needed only another victory to ensure their first playoff first place since 2019.
“It is one of our milestones, one of our words that we only use to push us beyond the edge,” said BickersTaff prayer. “Another of everything, another rotation. It is only appropriate, now that we need it to conquer a playoff point. But we know that the process has priority. Our guys will come out and will focus on the process tonight.”
And they focus on the process they made, while the Pistons beat the Raptors 117-105, with all five beginners who have scored in two-digit figures, to block themselves in the playoffs and complete one of the most impressive inversions in the history of the NBA. From 14 wins last season to 43 (and count) now, with a guaranteed point in the post -station.
Tim Hardaway Jr. led all the markers with 23 points on shooting 8 out of 14 and 5 out of 9 from the 3 -point range on Friday to make it possible.
The last time the Pistons conquered a playoff place, Cunningham, Jalen Duren and Jaden Ivey falls high school students. Detroit’s debutant of Detroit, Ron Holland II, was preparing to enter his first year at the Duncanville High School in Texas.
Tobias Harris, the second oldest player of the team behind Hardaway, is at the opposite end of the spectrum. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers and arrived in the second round during the same post -stament action that saw the Pistons get off the stage of the playoffs for what would eventually become five seasons in six years. That is, until Friday.
For Detroit fans, significant basketball during spring is officially returning to the Little Caesars Arena. While it remains to be seen where the pistons will land in the standings and those who go, are inside.
Friday’s victory concluded a journey of three games in which Detroit went 1-2. But the Pistons returned to action on Saturday when they host Memphis Grizzlies. This will be the first of a house of four games against the Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks. Detroit will close his season on the Milwaukee road.
Each of the last three games of the Pistons will probably have a turning point for the post-installation, since the Knicks and Bucks probably fuck themselves for the position in the Eastern Conference ranking. Wherever Detroit falls to the ranking should be irrelevant on Friday.
