Even Brearley’s girlfriend Aleesha Louise Gilmore, 23, and one of her collaborators Mitchell Colin, 26, are on trial, accused of killing Cassius.
Public ministries claim that Brearley chased Cassius and deliberately struck him in his head with a metal shopping shopping pole while “hunted for children” because someone had destroyed the windows of the car.
They support, Palmer and Gilmore helped him and met his intent before the accident.
Porter also played a recording of a phone call between Brearley and his father on October 28, 2022 while he was in Hakea prison.
During the call, Brearley’s father says that his co-accused are “rolling” on him and is facing additional accusations.
“I’m not me,” Brearley said while the accusation is explained.
“This is Bulls *** … I’ll take a lies detector if I have to.”
His father replied: “They don’t do it in Australia, friend”.
Brearley’s father tells his son to tell the truth when he speaks to his lawyer and that the “co-accused lies will be amazed and are trying to save their own skins”.
“I can’t do it anymore,” Brearley can be listened to, clearly crying.
His father: “Strong … will go well, friend.”
Brearley: “I’m tired of this.”
He also spoke to his brother, saying “I didn’t do a ***, friend”.

Brearley also told his father that he did not come out of a car that the accusation said he was led by Palmer in the place where Cassio was presumably beaten.
He said that Palmer and another person who is not accused of the murder came out and was far from the vehicle for about two minutes when the accident has occurred.

Porter also showed a fixed image of Brearley away from home who shared with Gilmore and his family.
He told the jury to show Brearley that he held a pole in his hand, which he denied.
