The 2023 champion Luca Brecel holds the record for the youngest player at the main event of the crucible, playing at the age of 17 and 45 days in 2012.
Szubarczyk can beat both those records comfortably while heading towards qualifying at the English Sport Institute in Sheffield on April 8, with the final games of the round played on April 15.
The pole faces Scotland Dean Young in the first round, with the winner of the best tie of the frame-19-fracta that crosses to face Stan Moody.
