American women accused of trying to smuggle children in us

Two American women were arrested at a California immigration checkpoint After the frontier patrol agents established that they were trying to smuggle two children in the United States.
The women were arrested by the frontier patrol agents assigned to the El Centro sector on Tuesday to an immigration checkpoint on the 86 motorway near Westmorland, the protection of customs and borders of the United States (CBP) said on Thursday in a press release.
The authorities reported that a woman was guiding while the other was on the front passenger seat and two girls, aged between 10 and 12, slept in the back. The identities of the adults have not been released.

The woman who leads initially told the agents who were traveling to California from Arizona, but later he said to the authorities who had come to the United States from Mexico through the San Luis Port of entry.
The discrepancies in the history of the driver pushed a border patrol agent of the Indio station to refer to their vehicle for the secondary inspection, which is where it was discovered that the photos and the names of the children did not correspond to what was on their identity cards.
During the interrogation, the agents learned that the girls were not linked to either of the two women in the vehicle and that the driver did not know the mother.

The girls in the end were identified as Minors not accompanied by Mexico, CBP said.
Gregory Bovino patrol leader of the El Centro sector said that this accident is “how children’s trafficking begins”.
“It is almost unbearable to think about which atrocious crimes await children who are not with their parents,” said Bovino. “The border environment has been spread with this type of activity in recent years, however, attention has shifted and the heavy sentences await the smugglers who have injured children”.
