Anti-trump protests begin across the country

They came out in defense of national parks and small businesses, public education and health care for veterans, abortion rights and Eque elections. They were against rates and oligarchs, dark money and fascism, the deportation of legal immigrants and the government’s efficiency department.

The demonstrators had no deficiency of causes while gathering in the cities of the whole country on Saturday for a day of protest against the policies of President Trump. Rollies were planned in all 50 states and images of some of the first published on social media showed crowds in places like Sant’Agostino, Florida, and Buffalo and demonstrators in Rainy Frankfort, Ky.

The mass action, “Hand Off!”, Was planned at a time when many on the left complained what they considered a lack of strong resistance to Mr. Trump. The president has moved aggressively to punish the people and institutions that he considered step by step with his ideology.

The rallies were organized by Indivisible, Moveon and many other groups that guided protests on abortion rights, armed violence and racial justice during the first Trump administration. The organizers said They hoped To move the emphasis on pocket issues such as health care and social security, with the message that Mr. Trump is making life more difficult for the average American, for the benefit of his richest friends.

They also moved away from concentrating on enormous events, such as the 2017 female march in Washington, to plan dozens of local meetings in large and small communities instead.

Judging by the waving signs, some demonstrators had specific problems, while others opposed the Trump administration and the sorceress movement in general. “It depends on my money, rights, democracy”, proclaimed a sign. “Make another again,” another said.
