Arsenal 1 Brentford 1 – Partay scores but the art of artite has held a draw in fourth alloy in six

Arsenal was not able to reproduce their midweek form against Real Madrid while they were required to deluding a bunching draw.
The Manager Mikel Arte rotated heavily, with Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Jurrien Timber among the players left on the bench.
Arsenal created a little sad-kieran Tierney at first had a goal excluded for offside was more a threat after the break and opened the markings when Thomas Party ended a quick counterattack.
This was the signal for those four players resting in the action, but they could not help their team on their advantage, with Yoaane Wissa who put in place after a good approach to Bryan Mbeumo.
Saka had an excellent possibility of marking the winner after Mark Flekken committed himself and failed to take the ball, temporarily leaving the Arsenal wing with a clear view of Goal. But Brentford’s defenders returned quickly and the possibility disappeared promptly what had arrived.
The result leaves the Arsenal 10 points to the drift of the leaders of the Premier League Liverpool, who have a match in their hand.
Art de Roche and Liam Thme analyze the key discussion points.
How did Arsenal reacted to beat Madrid?
The Hosting of the Arsenal Brentford would always have accompanied the highlight of a 3-0 final victory on Real Madrid.
With the second stage arriving on Wednesday, Arte made five changes to her starting formation, just as she did for the draw in Everton in view of the first stage. With this, some natural changes have come to the rhythm and flow in which Arsenal played.
Oleksandr Zincchenko started his first championship for Arsenal in midfield, but was unable to exercise the same influence as Odegaard. This saw William Saliba adopt a more active approach in the accumulation of Arsenal, whether it is dribbling forward with the ball itself or finding Gabriel Martinelli with a delicious passage faded behind.
Arsenal won 10 corners in the first half alone and three in the second, but without Gabriel or Mikel Merino to target, they confused their deliveries more than usual. Before facing Brentford, only 10 of their total league corners had been beaten. This afternoon, there were four of these cases in the first half, showing how different should be to represent a threat before Merino arrived.
David Raya’s rapid thought and Declan Rice did the part well, but they could have been more collectively vigilant in the second phase of the corner from which Wissa drew.

Raya, unlikely weapon to be counterattack of the Arsenal
As soon as party shot hit the net, I go up to Raya. The goalkeeper of the Arsenal had transformed the defense into attack by capturing the aubergine corner of Mbeumo and, rolling the rice ball for a dribbling box-to-box, launched the counterattack that Arsenal needed to open Brentford.
It was the seventh passage of Raya’s game (he did more in two championship games this season), trying to make this moment happen before doing it. In the first half, they were launched to Martinelli to try to use his rhythm. Just four minutes before the goal, he had made a rice shot to try to start a fast break.

The priority of artite of possession and territorial control means that the transition attacks are seen less often, but they have been important for Arsenal in recent weeks because they were missing the structure of a focal point in advance. With Leandro Trossard driving the line against Brentford, they had a stepped in abundance with Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri on both sides, and Rice built his game at West Ham United on great driving races.
Sign Raya from Brentford was essential to increase the defense floor, but its distribution is the key to supporting their attack models. Here, it was his command and intelligent to claim, intertwine traffic and find the ride forward of Rice.

A display for modeling forward recruitment?
Before Saka joined Martinelli at the front line in the second half, too many Arsenal players were looking for the ball on foot.
In addition to Tierney’s offside goal, their best moment in the first half came when Martinelli made an out-in-in-in-Backline race. He was chosen magnificently by Saliba only to block his shot immediately.
Looking beyond the starting attack of the Arsenal (Martinelli, Saka and Kai Havertz) there is a lack of raw rhythm and running power. This is not helped when Raheem Sterling cannot do it from the bench and shows that this is an area that could do with improving when thinking about the future of the team.
Saka and Martinelli have shown how threatening they can be for the defenses for a number of years, but having players behind them with similar attributes is equally important. Rice’s running power has made their pesticks, but having more than this in open attacks could help them put the teams under more pressure when their appetizers need to rest.

The harmful effect of the drawings
There are challenges to support the intensity after spenting so much energy-physically and mentally-Real Madrid, but two other points have fallen from 1-0 and another draw underlines why Arsenal ends the night behind Liverpool.
Of course, their premier league victories on Brentford have often been marginal, a particular strength of Thomas Frank’s team is their ability to increase the match against higher teams and make physical games. However, this was the fourth draw of Arsenal in the last six championship games and the 12th ever in the Premier League this mandate. Only Everton (14) has more, while it is more than they had had in 2023-24 and 2022 combined (11), when they pushed the city for the title. Arte’s team has lost only one more game of Liverpool this season, but the leaders have designed only seven times.
Even more important, eight of the 12 draws of the Arsenal have been from winning positions, so while they and Manchester United are the only teams of the Premier League not to lose a game that led in this campaign, are too many points abandoned by these positions. Part of this was the result of their inability to break down Brentford at the beginning of the game.
