Real Madrid will be very, very happy that Antonio Rudiger, Kylian Mbappe, Dani Ceballos and Vinicius Junior have avoided a suspension for tonight’s match after an UEFA investigation on an alleged indecent conduct.
Mbappe and Rudiger were fined and gave prohibitions of a game, suspended for a year, for “violation of the basic rules of the decent conduct” following their last triumph on Athletic Rivals Madrid.
Rudiger was fined of € 40,000 ($ 43,000), Mbappe € 30,000 ($ 32,900) and Ceallos € 20,000 ($ 21,900) for the same crime, while Vinicius Jr was not sanctioned.
It was assumed that the quartet had made gestures against Atletico supporters after winning the penalty to the Metropolitan.
The photos seemed to show Rudiger who made an alleged gesture that slips the throat in the direction of the crowd of the house while on the pitch, with Ceallos who would show an obscene gesture and Mbappe who presumed to have made an obscene gesture.
