NEW YORK – Carlos Rodón needed to redevelop the brain.

After a disappointing debut season with the Yankees of New York and an inconsistent year 2, Rodón has undertaken a complete self -examination of his starting launcher status. Rodón implemented a change last season, which became a creator of differences for him. We had to launch backwards where we had to get to fast balls in a different way. They knew that a fast ball was reaching 60 percent of the time. Think about it in this way: you are going to see two fast to the minimum. I had to change those numbers.”

Gerrit Cole said some springs that it was not until his third season with the Yankees who felt fully comfortable. At that point, he had full confidence in the launch department and knew who he could contact for advice. This is now the third year of Rodón with the Yankees, and there has been a similar feeling all out of season within the organization that this could be the year in which it is restored as one of the best launchers of the game.

“When a great contract sign, there is a lot of pressure in New York,” said Blake. “I think only by browsing that the first year is always a challenge.
