“Why do you have to include the real murders? Do you want to enter the knife? Do you want the blood? Is it like the first five minutes of Taxi driver,” Singleton said.
“To start the macabre movie again while they are all stabbed and dying, which is absolutely unwanted in this case.”
These films of the CCTV and the sensitive body cam, which captured the horrible scenes at the shopping center, will not be played in the investigation or released, he heard the court.
The Barrister Sue Chrysanthou SC appeared for Singleton’s family in court on Monday, but stressed that he was not acting for John.

Chrysanthou said that the families he represented, Singleton families, good and young, completely support the investigation.
“From their perspective, their lives have been changed in a way that none of us can really understand not in their situation,” said Chrysanthou at Coroner’s Court in Lidcombe.
“The life of children has been modified by what happened. It is important for them to understand if something else could have been done, or you could formulate recommendations from you to make sure that if this happens again it will not be so impact on the family as it was.”
Chrysanthou said that families were undergoing “incomprehensible” loss and defined the transmission of Singleton’s comments “insensitive and very inaccurate”, although they do not explain which parts they were questioned.
O’Sullivan thanked the family member who had started, including Tahir’s brother and sister, who died while he was in service as a security guard in Westfield.
The lawyer who represents Tahir’s family, Lester Fernandez SC, said that the guard family composed of one in the morning from the United Kingdom as a sign of their support for the investigation.
“While the anniversary of this tragic event approaches the assistance team and I am aware that this is a particularly difficult moment for you,” said O’Sullivan.
“I also recognize the many people deeply affected by the events of that day. The impact of this tragedy continues to be warned by injured people, by those who have courageously replied and made help.”

The hearing felt that the investigation will focus on a series of issues, including if there were “gaps in the mental health system” that Cauchi has slipped.
Cauchi had lived with schizophrenia since 2001 and was managed by the public health system in his native Queensland until 2012.
Between 2012 and 2020, he saw a private psychiatrist in Toowoomba and was treated using two psychotropic drugs.
Queensland police have never accused Cauchi of crimes, but was broadcast by his medicines in the years preceding his attack on the leadership of the psychiatric caregivers.
In 2023, Cauchi called the police at Tootwor’s house of his parents, telling officers that his father had stolen his collection of knives.
At the beginning of 2024, the investigation listened to, Cauchi had emigrated to the new South Wales, was homeless and lived under the Maroubra Beach pavilion.
