British judo temporarily suspends the coach Jamie Johnson after the accusations of bullying

Jamie Johnson’s British coach Johnson was temporarily suspended pending the results of an independent survey on bullying accusations.

Johnson, who is a national champion five times, supervised the women’s team at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

“British judo takes very seriously any accusation of any form of inappropriate behavior,” said the British judo managing director Andrew Scoular.

“All our athletes are encouraged to report any safeguard problems, including any bullying cases through our internal teams, which are therefore completely studied using independent external investigators.”

He added: “We will not commemorate any independent investigation in progress”.

Johnson previously faced a bullying from the former British Judish Piovesana Lubjana, but the 52 -year -old said he was eliminated by any bad conduct.

“The historical investigation was supported five years ago and no illicit was found,” Johnson said in a note.

“Recent accusations are underway, so I am not able to comment at this moment, but one thing I will say is that there are two sides for each story.”
