Calais Campbell, 38, returning to the cardinals for his 18th NFL season

The former defensive watches All-Pro Calais Campbell accepted a one-year agreement to return to the Arizona Cardinals, the Team announced on Tuesday.
He marks the 18th NFL campaign for Campbell, who will turn 39 September 1 and is currently the oldest non -quarterback of the NFL.
Campbell spent his first nine seasons with Arizona, more recently in 2016. Its 56 1/2 bags with cardinals on that rank of fourth place of all time in the history of the franchise. Campbell was part of the NFC champion team of Cardinals during his 2008 Rookie season and the last victory of the franchise playoffs during the 2015 campaign. Campbell is in his fourth team in four years, spending time with the Ravens in 2022, Falcons in 2023 and Dolfini in 2024.
An impressive business for his age, Campbell was able to start all 17 games for dolphins and hawks. He became the first defensive clock of at least 37 years to start every game of a season in Back-to-back since Ted Washington in 2005 and 2006. Campbell has concluded his mandate of the dolphins with five bags for the third consecutive season, also ending up secondly in the Miami roster in contrasts for the loss (12) and third in the blows of QB (12).
The Arizona originally enlisted Campbell in the second round (n. 50 in total) in 2008. It was the sixth defensive end and the tenth defensive guard outside the scoreboard that year behind artists of the caliber of Chris Long (n. 2), Glenn Dorsey (n. 5) and Vernon Gholston (n. 6).
The six -time Pro Bowler is the active leader of the NFL in the games started (242) and has compiled 917 tackles, 266 contrasts for loss, 110.5 bags, 63 passing breaks and 18 forced armes in 17 seasons. His last apparition to the playoffs came during the 2022 season with Baltimore Ravens.
