Cherry Blossom Jersey Power Rankings: Which DC team did you do best?

In a city often divided by politics, one thing on which most can agree to Washington is that Cherry Blossom’s shirts are a fantastic addition to the rotation of any DC team.

Few things cause Washingtonian sports fans to reach their portfolios faster than a cherry blossom stirring restyling. Most of the professional sports teams in the capital of the nation have now had a shirt inspired by Cherry Blossom, therefore now, since the popular trees are in bloom, we ask: who wore it better?

Below we classified our favorites.

1. Washington Nationals

In combination with a pink dc flag on the sleeve and probably one of the best connection hats of the city of the initial wave in MLB, with an incredibly sewn cherry tree of cherry trees and you have a classic case of the first time that you are the best time.

The capital could not have asked for a better season of the 50th anniversary. One of the best records in the NHL. The iconic research of Alex Ovechkin for NHL immortality while chasing the goals of all times of Wayne Gretzky who have scored the record and a Cherry Blossom shirt that has a good appearance in its variation of retro screaming Eagle.

The caps sent a nod from the Nats and decided that the cherry flower pink would be an accessory and not dominant color. The rose in the stars of the east wing is a nice touch, as well as the branch of cherry flowers in bloom in the Talon dell’Aquila. White numbers on the back with cherry flowers illustrated inside the number and a shoulder patch of the 50th anniversary with a couple of cherry blossoms complete a solid appearance. Making the old blue school the dominant color was a good choice here. The only negative aspect is that these shirts have not been worn on the ice, only during the pre -party arrivals.

3. DC United

The first MLS dynasty joins the parade of the Cherry Blossom shirt in a strong way (the outline of the pink neck is exceptional) with cherry blossom branches throughout the front of the shirt, although the rose is more faded on the branches than the light neckline.

Citizens and capitals have shown with their gray and blue efforts that it is possible to give a successful cherry flower aspect without a pink overload as long as the primary color is a good companion for the cherry flower pink. The main white of this shirt is not a great collaborator. And there is too much black here where there could be pink. The DC United Crest, the Adidas logo, the shoulders, the sleeves, everyone could have used a cherry flower.

4. Washington Wizards

If your shirt is this rose, Lionel Messi doesn’t wear it with a good weather? The hatching of the “I” in Washington with a cherry flower is a nice touch, but otherwise the “Bloom City” editions are the least creative but also undoubtedly the brightest. The transparent cherry cherry flowers on the side of the shirt would have had a better appearance on the front. There is also the disturbing reminder if you are a fan of Wizards basketball that the three initial models of this look when he made his debut in 2022 (Rui Hachimura, Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma) are no longer with the team.

Commanders of Washington

The commanders do not look like Cherry Blossom (again), but their Hail Mary Black shirts would be a main candidate for some experiments. In particular, the commanders are the only team in this list that does not play in Washington (I am in Landover, Maryland, for some more years), but perhaps the potential return of the team to the Columbia district could bring with it a little SWAG by Cherry Blossom on the field.

Washington spirit

While the Spirit offers a lot of Cherry Blossom goods for fans, they still don’t have an official shirt. Hooded sweatshirts, shirts and long -sleeved shirts offer an excellent model of what that look on the field could strive.

Washington Mystics

The mystics have the opportunity to get a Cherry Blossom -style basketball shirt. They should take ideas from the magicians and think about pink in moderation. Perhaps a large cherry flower in flower to represent their only Wnba title.
