Ciraldo is eager to keep Halfback Toby after Bulldogs has returned to DCE
He said the Bulldogs have not spent discussing for a long time whether to play a game for Cherry-Evans.
“I saw the news on Monday evening and we didn’t think about it too,” he said. “Gus crushed him yesterday. So it wasn’t a discussion point here. We are preparing for a really exciting game tomorrow.”

That game is their clash with Cronulla at the Stadium of the Sharks Saturday, which represents a sort of return home for Ciraldo based in Shire, as well as the Bulldogs Connor Tracey players, Bronson Xerri and Jaeman Salmon, who arrived through the Junior system of Cronulul.
“I love going over there,” said Ciraldo of his former home land. “It’s funny, I work the children at school and I have to go further. It was a little embarrassing this week, trying to make sure it doesn’t seem to spy on.
“I love going there. I go there and playing there since I was 11 years old. It is always special. The family is always around.

“But it is special only when you win. This is all on which we focus tomorrow evening. We are only preparing for this and we make sure we have a good performance and, hopefully, come away with two points.”
The Bulldogs will have to overcome two long -standing hoods if they have to continue their unbeaten race: they have not won on the turf of Cronula since 2011, returning empty -handed after the last five visits, nor have they won four consecutive games to open every season for 32 years.
“It’s a rather interesting statistics, but it doesn’t mean anything if we don’t win this weekend,” said Ciraldo of the hopes of his team to emulate their counterparts from 1993.
“We are not worried about what we did the first three weeks. It is just about preparing for this game … we are excited about starting well the year, but I don’t win comp March.”
It is modeled as an intriguing clash between two teams that should be present again in the play-offs but are still trying to assert themselves as real rewarding contenders.
“We are not under illusions,” said Ciraldo. “It will be a really difficult game. Cronulla is a really good team.” They added some strike with Adam Fonua-Blake this year, then a team of four first four will be again. After this weekend, we will really know where we are. “
