Craig Bellamy: Wales Boss crogiulates in the chaos of the North Macedonia

The chaos of injuries deformed the narrative arc of the game.

Wales had dominated for 90 minutes, but it seemed to have fallen in love with a punch of suction cup when the backpass of the replacement Joe Allen had been collected by Bojan Miovski, whose goal had aroused exulting celebrations between the home players and the fans.

Then the Bedlam arrived while Wales was arranged with the Bellamy modus operandi of the patient’s storage game and launched the Big Kieffer Moore ball, who nodded with the ball for his colleague David Brooks to force the ball beyond the line up close.

Despite all the unkempt joy of that moment, however, Bellamy could not hide his frustration.

“Looking at him was like” Wow “but, at the same time, coming away with a point actually leaves me disappointed, I must be honest, because of the performance,” he said.

This was the eighth game of Bellamy in charge of Wales and has not yet lost, with four wins and four draws that led to the promotion of the Nations League and a solid start for the qualifying of the World Cup.

His frustration was understandable in Skopje. North Macedonia offered very little, while Wales could not convert their possessual domain into the three guaranteed points.

Once the euphoria of the celebrations attends itself, Bellamy will ensure that Wales knows that this was a lost opportunity.

Wales is second in group J, behind the first leaders of the North Macedonia with the difference in Porta, but greater challenges await with the best seeds of Belgium still to be played.

“It may have been very precious (point). I probably feel on the performance, I think the way I looked at the game today, I think we needed three. It could prove to be an important point, but time will say it,” Bellamy added.

“We know in international football, sometimes they can be limited, but we also had our great possibilities. By reflecting on the game, perhaps we had to take three.”
