Curling: Mouat to meet Schwaller in another Grand Slam final

The Mouat team will meet the Schwaller team in the final of the players’ championship, only a week after the couple in front of the Title of the World Men’s Curling Championship.

The Scots have moved on to another final – which will be shown live on the website and the BBC Sport app – beating the Jacobs 6-2 team.

In the meantime, Yannick Schwaller’s Swiss side has organized a second meeting by the one week space by sending the Dunstone team.

Schwaller’s track was defeated 5-4 by Bruce Mouat and his team in a dramatic final in the world in Moose Jaw, Canada.

Now the Swiss will try to correct the wrongs of that loss in the final on Sunday in Toronto, which will be played at 21:00 BST.

The Schwaller team finished above the Mouat Pool A Team, with both teams who won four and loses once.

The Ross Whyte track was the only team to defeat their Scottish in the pool phase, but she was unable to reach the play-offs.
