Dale Earnhardt Jr, Lamar Jackson in legal battle on n. 8

Dale Earnhardt Jr. And Lamar Jackson found themselves in a peculiar legal battle.
Dale Jr., of course, became one of the faces of the Nascar while driving the car n. 8. Jackson wore the same number during his football career e won two MVP with it.
Well, in 2019, Jackson presented brands of brands for “It was 8” and “It was 8 by Lamar Jackson”.

Dale Jr., however, is trying to mark the number itself, stylized in the fashion that was on his car. He submitted the application last December.
But Jackson claims that Earnhardt’s question is in conflict with his brands.
In an option notice, Jackson claims to be widely associated with n. 8 “because of his notoriety and fame, together with his promotion of this number in his brands and in the media coverage” and which could be “damaged” by the recording of Earnhardt JR ..

The quarterback also stated that the driver’s recording “falsely suggests a connection” between the two.
“(Jackson) has dedicated a lot of time, efforts and expenses in the promotion, advertising and dissemination of number 8 in relation to his personality and fame, as well as with the questions and recordings of the brand to which he refers, with the result that the public has become aware, relying on and recognizing (Jackson) of Jackson as sources of sources of (Jackson) with his purchase products”. The deposit reads. (Jackson) has established a precious goodwill in his recordings and applications with the number 8 “
Therefore, the quarterback has “respectfully (requested” that the demand for Earnhardt Jr. is “rejected the recording”.
In his career Nascar, Dale Jr. won two Daytona 500s and the Xfinity Back-to-back series, then known as Busch Series, to close the 90s.

This is not Jackson’s first time to defend his brand. Found himself in a similar battle with Troy Aikman Last year, which tried to mark the word “eight”.
