David Marcus: Trump should report domains and make “was common” a note from WOKE page

Even an occasional reader of history will have noticed in recent years that the common era of the antiseptic term (CE) has slowly replaced the elegant year Domini (AD) as an indicator of the period that started 2.025 years ago in most historical works.

Although at first glance this may seem like a minor change, surely it is not, and given the courageous and so much necessary work of the Trump administration to repair the damage caused by WoNeness, it is possible that the damage can be reversed here.

Before getting to how an executive order would work to bring back, let’s take a look at why it is so necessary to restore it to our written works in history.

Year Domini is not just a description, it’s an explanation. He is telling us directly that the reason we call this year 2025 is that Christ has lived 2,025 years ago. It is not just a happy accident that Jesus lived right now. His life is the entire basis of the chronological system.

This keeps us in communion with over 1,000 years of our history, from the old books they used: “In the year of our Lord, …” to the classics of the 20th century history that used the classic and traditional announcement.

Now, the progressive historians, who represent everyone except for them, insist that everything they are doing using the common era instead is to separate religion from the “scientific” or at least empirical study. But this is an easily denied lie.

The names of our months, for example, are taken by the Romans, yet nobody thinks that we should change the name of March, so it is not derived from a pagan god of war. The difference is that, like all the leftist things, it is really about power.

The months that take their name from the Romans do not disturb progressives because they do not see ancient Roman paganism as part of a dominant culture that must have its power over society weakened by lighting. But this is exactly the way they see Christianity.

In other way, leftist historians are convinced that the use of ad imposes Christianity to non -Christians, and therefore a more neutral, or dare to say, a common term should be used.

This is nonsense. There has never been a significant group of people who lived outside of walls covered with ivy and ivory towers who were even annoyed remotely from the term DC before historians began with this stupidity.

First you would find an owner of Bodega in the Bronx who wants to be called “Latinx”.

In addition, this change from A to CE is part of a much wider attempt to erase Christianity not only from public life, but from the history of the West as a whole, of which it is undoubtedly the most important force.

Christianity has not grown alongside western civilization, it is western civilization, or at least until about 10 minutes ago. Not only do the progressives want Christian inheritance and tradition removed from the present and the future of our society, but want to erase it from our past.

As for the Restore of CEO in our history books, there is a huge step that President Trump could do by executive order. With the blow of a Sharpie, it may require that all the documents of books produced by the Federal Government or with federal funding use the most accurate and descriptive term Domini.

It is not really too late to make a bizarre note, used during a short term of academic madness at the beginning of the 21st century. Given what the publishers of university books of federal funding receive, the change could arrive very quickly.

Of course, such a Trump move would have caused bloody ascertainment of censorship and accusations of trampling academic freedom. But American taxpayers, Christians or not, should not pay for the mission of the left to snatch Christianity from the heart of our civilization.

Sometimes they are the little things, those that do not seem to import, that end more, because it starts with those who care if a man wants to wear a dress, and then his surgery on children. It starts with level the playing field and ends up “no white males must be applied”.

The cancellation of the year Domini is one of these times, one of these canarins in a coal mine for our society, and time is now to restore it in its legitimate place.
