David Moyes: Everton Boss emits “Challenge” European Spot for the next season

Everton’s “challenge” for the next season in the Premier League should be to try to end up qualifying for Europe, says manager David Moyes.
The Scot, 61, left West Ham in the summer and returned to take charge of the taffees for a second spell in January.
Moyes also led the hammers twice and, in his second period as a boss, they avoided relegation in 2019-2020 to finish 16 °, before an impressive goal in the sixth place in the following countryside.
West Ham also reached the Europa League semifinals, before winning in particular the Europe Conference League in 2023 to finish the club’s 43 -year -old expectation for a large trophy.
With only three home games left in Goodison Park before transferring to their new stadium next season, Moyes wants Everton to be in 15th place to emulate his successes at the London Stadium.
“It was fantastic for the club and turned West Ham,” Moyes said at BBC Radio 5 Live. “European tours for supporters, the money that were brought by the games at home and we reached the Europa League semifinal.
“I really don’t see why we shouldn’t try to do it here in Everton. This must be the challenge.”
However, half of the highly competitive table still has a tenth place with a cry to play in Europe next season.
On Saturday, Everton visited the third place of Nottingham Forest, who avoided relegation last season last season, but challenged the chances of putting himself in a strong position to compete in the Champions League on the next term.
Moyes added: “We are seeing the strange team now perhaps there is a test like Bournemouth and Fulham, while Brentford has tried to show over the years they can approach.
“I don’t see why we shouldn’t try to enter that group. If we continue playing as we do, we get results, then we will give ourselves every chance.”
