Denver Nuggets 140-139 Minnesota Timberwolves: Nikola Jokic has triple double record in the defeat


Nikola Jokic by Denver Nuggets scored 61 career points while he recorded the triple double with the highest score in the history of the NBA.

The Serbian, three times MVP, has claimed 10 rebounds and 10 assists in an extraordinary defeat of 140-139 by the Minnesota Timberwolves at Ball Arena.

The previous record was held by teammate Nuggets Russell Westbrook, who scored 57 points and made 13 rebounds and 11 assists for Oklahoma City Thunder in 2017.

Westbrook, who joined the Nuggets in 2024, missed a lay-up with 10 seconds remaining in the extraordinary with the nugget who led 139-138.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker was then failed in an attempt to block an attempt by three points with 0.1 seconds on the clock.

Alexander-Walker has made two of the three free shots to seal a dramatic victory of Timberwolves.
