Do Cup: now for a new winner or first from the 1950s?

Obviously, there may be a family winner of the FA Cup this season, with the seven times Manchester City champions still a lot in dispute – three of those who have come since 2011.
But if they were upset by Bournemouth on Sunday, then the Final Four would be absent from City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United, the parts that have put around the Trophy of the England Cup in recent decades.
The table above shows how these sides dominated in the modern era, with only Aston Villa dei remaining clubs in the competition capable of competing in terms of victories, although all theirs came before 1958.
In reality it is not long ago on the one hand that did not first raise the England Cup before – or has won it for the first time for a long time – the last time has conquered it.
This happened only four years ago, when Leicester City triumphed on Chelsea.
However, that Foxes wins is only the third time since Everton won the Fa Cup 30 years ago that a team other than Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United won it.
The others were surprisingly triumphs for Wigan in 2013 and Portsmouth five years earlier.
That support from 2008 was also the last time that a final did not include one of the aforementioned five teams of the Premier League, with Harry Redknapp’s Portsmouth who beat Cardiff.
“I think it could happen this season,” said the former Everton Fara Williams midfielder on Football Focus.
“If you look at how the Premier League took place this season, there have been some surprise packages.
“This could be the year in which we have two teams in the final that we have not seen in recent seasons.”
