Dodgers positions Freddie Freeman on the ankle distortion days after autumn in the shower

Filadelphia – The Los Angeles Dodgers put the first baseman Freddie Freeman on the list of wounded Thursday after worsening his right -wing ankle surgically sheltered while falling in the shower during the weekend.

Daverts’ manager Dave Roberts said on Tuesday evening that Freeman was “50/50” in training for the final of the Wednesday series against the former team of Freeman, the Atlanta Braves. Freeman was not in training even after participating in a pre -party training.

Freeman had expressed optimism on the fact that he could have returned to action at least from the opening of the Friday series in Philadelphia, but now Freeman is destined to be out for the entire Dodgers trip against Phillies and Washington Nationals.

The placement was retroactive on March 31, which means that Freeman would have been admissible to return for the start of the next Dodgers house against the Chicago Cubs.

The Dodgers officially listed the injury as a distortion to the right ankle. Freeman said this week that the last round of radiographs did not show additional damage.

Freeman originally wounded the ankle during the night when the Dodgers conquered the National League West in September, rolling it while trying to beat a land ball and snatch ligaments. He played him on his way to the honors of the MVP of the World Series and underwent surgery in November to remove the bone spurs that had interrupted dangerously close to his Achille tendon.

Freeman’s ankle was not 100 percent enough when Reinject took it on Sunday morning, but had participated in the first three games in the home of the Dodgers this season. He had lost both games in Tokyo after aggravating an injury to the separate ribs he had played in October. The ankle was still painful inside, but quite playable that Freeman launched two runs at home during the weekend without having any ribbon.

However, said Freeman, the Dodgers wanted to pay attention to a background flight and cold and wet conditions on the eastern coast.

Freeman said this week that he had marked his ankle at home. A loss in the main bathroom had forced Freeman to use a different shower in the house which was a combined shower tank. In climbing the lip of the tub, lost the balance and fell.

“I entered and my foot slipped and went down,” said Freeman. “Strange accident. I really can’t invent it.”

Freeman had worked his physical therapy up to about 50 minutes of treatment before each game and was scheduled for more when he fell. His wife, Chelsea, ended up led him to the baseball field for what he turned into a three -hour session.

“It’s a glass door, so it could have been much worse,” said Freeman. “I could have hit my head or something.

Freeman has defined the times of the “frustrating” fall. He had passed the discomfort in the ribs. The mild illness he collected during the exhibition series of the exhibition was attenuated.

“He kicked the disease, then kicked the bathtub,” said Freeman.

The first 35 -year -old baseman was a kind of modern iron iron. This marks the first period of Freeman in the unrelated wound to Covid-19 since 2017, when the wrist broke. Freeman spent 10 days after Dodgers and was briefly included in the limited list last summer when the youngest son, Max, contracted the Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare neurological disorder. He returned and continued to play also through a fractured finger before cementing his inheritance of October with a Grand Slam of Walk-Off in the game 1 of the World Series.

After seeing his father after the pool accident on Sunday morning, Max Freeman joked: “Dad, you got another boo-Boo”.
