Donegal 1-25 Derry 1-15: BALLYBOFEY SUN A return to the past for Ulster SFC Times past

Despite being a pre-game doubt, Rogers because of a question of the ankle, fought valiantly to bring Oak’s leaflers back to the game as a point and two scores, as well as another successful doherty shot from the outside of the 40-meter arch, the advantage of Donegal to two.
But it was as good as it is good for Derry like the Donegal replied with seven individual rights that left them clear after 47 minutes. Even with the two -point score of the new rules, an additional return to oak leaves has never looked.
Murphy, after being well detained by Eoin Mcevoy for the most part, finally scored five minutes from time as he escaped the young man’s chains.
“Today Eain was very good. He kept Michael very quiet. Michael got a couple of scores before the end, but the game was well opened from that phase,” Trally reflected, who spoke of the importance of the long break that the Leaflers Oak now have before starting the All-Ireland group campaign next month.
“The season has not ended up in long lasting. We have the group phases of the championship to look to the future. We have a few weeks of rest and right now, we need it. We have many injuries.
“We have to strengthen our team. We have to recover the boys. We only had a week there to bring artists of the caliber of Brendan and Lachlan (Murray) and Ciaran McFaul to enter again. I would like to think with a good race that we will be better.”
For their part, the Donagal will return to Ulster again in less than two weeks to the clones when they face Monaghan, who remain the only county to have defeated McGuinness the manager in the province due to the provincial final victory of 2013 on the then champions throughout Ireland.
I hope the sun continues to shine for that.
