Edinburgh confirms the partnership of cherries and prices

The international Scottish Dave Cherry and Ali Price go from Edinburgh to the end of the season.
The club says that both players “will face game opportunities abroad” at the expiry of their contracts.
Hooker Cherry, 34, started every game in the six nations of this year, bringing his counting of chapels to 16.
Price, 31 years old, did 66 international appearances and half of the fray played in all three Tour tests in South Africa of British and Irish Lions in 2021.
His last release for Scotland came against Figi in November 2024.
Before his passage to Edinburgh in November 2023, Price spent nine years in Glasgow Warriors.
“Dave and Ali both have made a significant contribution to Edinburgh’s rugby and we thank them for their dedication and commitment,” said coach head Sean Evantitt.
“Dave gave a lot during his period to the club, but it is a position that we are well provided with a good young Scottish talent and, therefore, we decided not to continue his agreement and wish him the best in his next steps.
“Dave’s journey to become a centurion is a testimony of his hard work and resilience, while the experience and leadership of Ali were precious for the team”.
