Everton condemns the death threats to James Tarkowski

Everton condemned the death threats made to James Tarkowski and his family following the defender’s equipment The Merseyside derby on Wednesday in Anfield.
Tarkowski was booked for a late challenge on the Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, but the refereeing body of the Premier League later said he should have been expelled.
“The Everton Football Club is aware of the threats made for James Tarkowski and his family on social media. This behavior is completely unacceptable and has not placed in football or in the club”, has read a declaration of taffees.
“The club is connecting James and his wife Samantha and is ready to commit himself to social media companies and assist the police with any potential investigation.
“Everton strongly condemns any form of online or offline intimidation, threats or abuses directed to players, staff or their families.”
Tarkowski’s wife, Samantha, said that the abuse is “beyond the disgusting” in an Instagram post.
“The level of abuse that my husband is receiving his death, cowardly comments on me, about us in pairs and on him as a person he is beyond disgusting,” he said.
“People forget they are more than a simple footballer. He is a husband, a son, brother, a friend and, above all, the father of our two children.
“Football is a sport, but the way some so -called fans behave are shameful. Abuse, threats – is not passion, it is pathetic. We are real people and this goes far beyond football.”
Tarkowski was seen talking to Mac Allister on the field at the final whistle and said that Argentina International has accepted his apologies.
“I spoke to him and I apologized because it was not a great tackle,” he told the Premier League Productions.
“When the ball fell between us, I thought it would come and waited for me to be a great challenge of the old school 50-50. But he pulled out of the rent and while I launched myself, followed and inside, I took it quite high.
“I apologized to him and accepted him, so it’s not fantastic on my part.”
