Ford Championship: Hyo-Joo Kim Casta Lilia Vu in Play-off while Charley Hull Fades

Hyo-Joo Kim of South Korea won the Ford Championship in a playoff while Charley Hull in England was unable to mount a challenge in the last day in Arizona.

Kim beat the American Lilia Vu in the first extra hole to claim his seventh LPGA title after finishing tied 22 on a par with the Whirlwind Golf Club of the Cattail Campo.

Hull, who went to the final round in second place – Two shots behind the leader VU – ended up in a tie for the 11th out of 17 below after loading an under 71, its worst score of the tournament.

Kim started the four head shots, but hit nine birds in a 64 to wrap up in Vu, who went around 68.
