GB Zoe Atkin wins Halfpipe World Freeski in Switzerland

Zoe Atkin from Great Britain has made a splendid second race to bring gold to Halfpipe Freeski to the world championships of freestyle skiing and snowboarding in Switzerland.
The 22 -year -old American skier fell at the end of his opening attempt to Engadin, but he thrilled the judges when the pressure went to score 93.50.
He completed the set of medals on the worlds, following his silver and bronze to the two previous championships.
“Oh my God, this means everything for me,” said Atkin, who beat the Chinese girl of only 0.5, while Cassie Shadese Sharpe claimed the bronze with 88.00.
“After getting a third and second, in this season I was like ‘you know what, I want to go for gold’.
“So I put a lot of work this season. I tried to put my new trick in there. I had many mental blocks, so really proud of myself for working it.
“Then being able to land it in my second heat, with all the pressure, and becoming world champion. Oh my God, this means so much for me, I am so excited.”
The victory closed a successful season for Atkin, who He shared the general title of the World Cup with the li in Chinese in the female Halfpipe.
“I feel fantastic – I’m world champion,” added Atkin. “I’m going to celebrate, I will eat all the Swiss chocolate that I have in my bedroom, I would bish on the patio.”
