Golden Deeps data review unearths uber-rich gallium in Namibia

The CEO of Golden Deepps Jon Dugdale said: “The identification of Nosib of high degree Gallio, together with other critical metals such as copper, vanadium, Germanio and Antimonio has improved the potential value of this polymented discovery.”
Golden Deeps’ move to highlight Gallio’s potential in Nosib arrives at a time when China – responsible for 98 % of world production – has created a break in the critical metal market, recently slapsing a ban on exporting various metals, including Gallium, Antimony and Germanio.
The prices have shot higher while the rest of the world climbs for alternative sources of metals, leaving companies with inventories of these metals – such as Golden Deeps – in the box seat.
The world -level otavi belt is not extraneous to the developments of basic metals with Gallium, Germanio and associated antimony. Often considered the country of elephants, the rich belt includes deposits such as the minimum TSumeb mine, 40 kilometers west of Golden Deeps’ land.
Tsumeb has notoriously delivered 27 million tons with a tasty copper of 4.3 percent, advantage of 10 %, 3.5 percent of zinc, silver classification at 95 g/te 50 g/t Germanio.
The mining extraction of TSumeb has closed, however, the Chinese symptoms are showing a renewed interest in the resource by warning 223 million dollars (one $ 371 million) to process the remaining pile of trails of 3 meters on site, with degrees of 254 g/t Germanio, 139 g/t Gallio and 7.1 % of zinc.
A little further on, the Kombat mine contains an evaluation of copper resources of 12.5 meters to 2.6 percent and has also reported Germanium and highly anomalous antimony within its deposit.
A second -phase perforation program is scheduled to extend the known mineralization and test deeper objectives. At the same time, Golden Deeps will continue the work of metallurgical tests and the modeling of resources to better define the Gallium of Nosib and the associated metal potential.
When all the data have been creaked, Golden Deeps will incorporate the Gallium into its current estimate of Jorc resources for Nosib, which stands at 707,600T classification of 1.06 percent of the copper equivalent. Gallium will be expected to significantly improve the evaluation of the project.
With the front and the center of Gallio in the global strategies of the supply chain and Golden Deeps, rapidly advancing a high quality deposit in a strategic jurisdiction, the company is well positioned to play a significant role in the future of the production of critical metals.
