Gout Gout breaks the 20 second barrier to win the Australian title 200m

The gout of the seventeenth year old won the Australian title of 200m and broke the 20 second barrier with a performance assisted by the wind in Perth.
He crossed the line in 19.84 seconds – 0.2 seconds faster than his national record, but it was not an official record due to a wind speed of +2.2 meters per second.
Gout became the second fastest speed faster of 200m of 200 million years in all conditions – behind the American Erriyon Knighton, who Clock 19.49 to the LSU invitation in 2022.
“The maximum speed is my gift. I used it, it took off and I got the sub-20, so I couldn’t be happier,” said Gout, who managed a 20.21 legal in the heats.
