The house currently consists of 431 members. There are 218 Republicans and 213 Democrats. There are four vacant places.
Former representative Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) He did not enter office. Former representative Michael Waltz (R-Fla.) He resigned. Reps. Sylvester Turner (D-Texas) and Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) Died.
Let’s just say that the Republicans – although unlikely – lose the two special elections of the house in Florida. With the democratic victories, the Chamber would therefore have 433 members with 218 Republicans and 215 Democrats. Two more vacant places with the death of Turner and Grijalva.
But if the Senate confirmed Stefanik and halved, the Chamber would be 217 Republicans and 215 Democrats with three vacant places: Stefanik, Turner and Grijalva.

However…
If Turner and Grijalva had lived, the Democrats would have had control of the Chamber at 218-217 in that scenario. And in particular, the room has never been launched in the middle of a congress.
This is the reason why Johnson begged last November for Mr. Trump not to capture other republicans from the Chamber.
