“This shift is significant: the research shows that over 85 % of daily work is now carried out in the browser.

However, browsers were not built thinking about corporate safety. “They are vulnerable to harmful extensions, phishing attacks and data losses,” he says.

Today’s security measures must be seamless and discreet.

When safety controls become an obstacle, employees can bypass them, increasing the risk.

“If employees feel that safety is slowing down, they will look for alternative solutions such as the use of personal email accounts to send work documents or bypass VPN that increase the overall risk of the organization,” he says.
