IPL 2025: RCB beat the Mumbai Indians on the return of Jasprit Bumrah from the injury

Jasprit Bumrah was unable to prevent the Mumbai Indians who slipped to a defeat of 12 shots on his return from the injury while the real challengers Bengaluru resisted to win a high score game in the Indian Premier League.

The India Fast Bowler Bumrah, playing for the first time since January after a back injury, took a four-over cheap 0-29, but RCB still published 221-5 with Virat Kohli who hit 67.

Mumbai brought their chase on the wire, but it came short after Hardik Pandya was captured at the deep Wicket halfway for 42 from 15 balls from the Bowling of Josh Hazlewood at the beginning of the penultimate.

Hardik had hit three four and four six to leave 28 runs to get from the last 12 balls.

After falling, Mitchell Santner hit Hazlewood for six, but Hardik’s brother, Krunal Pandya, was captured for a long time, who took three wickets with his rotation of the left arm while defending himself 19 from the last.

Mumbai ended with 209-9 with the upper score of Tilak Varma with 56 from 29 balls. He wore 89 in just 34 balls with Hardik in the middle of the sizes.

Previously, Kohli shared a 91 partnership with Devduct Padikkal, who made 37 after England Phil Salt was launched by Trent Boult for four at the opening.

The RCB soundtrack was further revoked by 64 by Rajat Patidar and 40 by only 19 balls of Jitesh Sharma. Liam Livingstone was out for a two balls.

Bumrah, 31 years old, whose last appearance was in the fifth India test against Australia in early January, granted only two borders in its four over. He was the only Bocce player from Mumbai to grant less than 10 rides per over.

Victory means that RCB joins Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans out of six points at the top of the table, but I am third for the kind concession of their net running rate. Mumbai are eighth with four defeats of five.
