It’s time for David Moyes to know more about his Everton team

David Moyes has finally seen enough. Scot did not want to venture into the new Everton stadium until the safety of the Premier League was guaranteed, but now he hopes to visit the state -of -the -art structure next week.
Moyes believes the work is almost finished. Except for an extraordinary turnaround, Everton will be a Premier League team next season.
“Mathematically, we are not yet safe, but I hope to visit the stadium this week, which would indicate that we are close enough,” said Moyes after 1-1 draw with Arsenal, before adding a last word of caution. “I have a little to do and I hope not to speak too early.”
In truth, the new visit to the Moyes stadium could probably arrive before. At the beginning of this week, Everton had 17 free points from trouble and coasts. The Arsenal point brought them to 35 – The defeat of Ipswich Town against Wolverhampton Wanderers a couple of hours later means that the gap for the three lower is now 15 points with seven games to play.
He gave the recent games of Everton, also the Wednesday derby, an atmosphere of the end of the season with over a month of the countryside to be done. Upon exploited in the light of the spring sun on Saturday, Goodison had the carefree air of a place that knows that Everton’s security has been guaranteed.
There were moments in the second half in which Arsenal pushed for a winner and the mind went to what he would hear if Moyes’ team needed something from playing. However, the lack of danger for both teams meant that a slow form of torture had been avoided. The result counted little.
As he recognized this week, the challenge for Moyes and his players is to try to prevent the season from escaping.
Everton’s program is demanding. After dealing with the first and second in Liverpool and Arsenal, they have Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Chelsea who arrive before the end of April.
Some of Moyes’ public caution on Everton’s position can come from the desire to keep his team on the track. But with so many players out of contract at the end of the season, there should be enough motivation for the 15 in question who play for their future.
There are others in the team for which the season finale will bring some weight. James Tarkowski, Vitalii Mykoleko and James Garner are ready to go in the last 12 months of their agreements. And those with contracts that have more time to run, Nathan Patterson, Youssef Cheriti and Tim Iroegbunam will hope to prove that they are part of Moyes’ reconstruction.

Patterson and Iroegbunam were delivered on Saturday while Everton’s manager mixed his pack. With some key players again from an injury, others, including Mykoleko, succumbing to fitness problems and the Merseyside derby on Wednesday after putting the team to the test, Everton’s manager managed the rule on some marginal players.
“He gave me the opportunity to change it and try to take a look at Tim after the game in the middle of the week, and the injury to Mykoleko meant that Patterson also had the opportunity,” said Moyes. “We have always thought of making a couple of changes, but some of them were a bit applied.
“I have to discover all the players and see what they can do. I can’t wait to see how we compete (in the final games).”
Patterson and Iroegbunam had contrasting afternoons. The first, in a row in an unknown left back position, has been responsible for admirably with Ethan Nwaneri and Bukayo Saka. But Iroegbubam, perhaps Rusty, seemed submerged in midfield before being replaced after the hour.
Moyes should now use this race to find out more about others in his team.
The time has certainly come that Carlos Alcaraz is given a race His favorite position behind the attacker.
The Argentine loan contains a mandatory purchase clause if he had made nine championship departures (he is out of four) and Moyes admitted to the embargo section of his pre-match press conference that the terms of the agreement were entering his thoughts.
He knows that Alcaraz needs multiple games to test himself, but he went to the unstoppable Abdoulaye Doucoure industry against Arsenal and believed that his decision was claimed.
“We will see, we will talk about contracts another day”, Moyes when he was asked about the future of Alcaraz. “We just thought we had the opportunity to change the things and the best to the high end (for the game) they were doucoure and beto. Doucoure showed that it was the right choice.

“We had two games in which we would not have all possession. Doucoure did an excellent job in the job he did, especially at the beginning of the second half with him and Beto.”
Moyes is still trying to find the right balance between the remaining competitive in difficult games, to guarantee more cash prizes to help with the position of Everton’s profit and sustainability rules and planning for the future. Given the program, it is not yet ready to remove all chains.
But the best way to get to know Alcaraz is to expose him to these games on the high quality opposition. Ditto Patterson, attacker by twenty -year -olds Cheriti and forward loan from Armando Broja. There is also a coincidence to give Jake O’Brien, a potential successor of Jarrad Gethwaite in the center of defense, the opportunity to put together a series of games in his favorite position rather than on the right back, where he performed impressively.
With Everton good as sure, these are the main points of intrigues between today and the end of the season.
Moyes knows what doubles and other usual customers can bring. Before summer, he should take the opportunity to find out even what Alcaraz and others are done.
