Jackson Merrill by Padres lands in the wound list with the tension of the right knee tendon
San Diego Padas put midfielder Jackson Merrill on the 10 -day wound list Tuesday with a tension in the right knee tendon, one day after keeping him out of training as a precaution. The move was back on Monday.
Merrill, 21 years old, ranked among the best sports beats in this young season. He beat .378 with two doubles, four runs in the house and 10 RBI in his first 10 games, walking a team of Padres who entered Tuesday with the Los Angeles Dodgers for the largest number of victories in the main alloys (nine).
