Japanese Grand Prix: Lewis Hamilton says that Hamilton has a “100%absolute faith” in Ferrari

Hamilton stressed the difficulties in adapting to a new team, in particular around the details of the technicality of a new car.
“Reflecting, in reality I was quite happy with how I adapted only in those two races,” he said.
“I definitely have a lot of jobs to make sure it is better to go on.
“He is just understanding the technical side of this thing, understanding all the tools I have. He loves to be guided in a different way.
“After analyzing the last two races, you have the first race (in Australia) … generally I don’t feel very well in the car at the beginning, but my rhythm was not so bad in the first two days.
“And on Sunday it was the first time I driven the car in the rain and I was learning a lot for the whole race.”
Hamilton said he was also affected by the execution time lost in the pre-stage tests in Bahrain and that he was forced to lose an Abu Dhabi test at the end of last year when other drivers tried the new 2025 tire designs.
For this reason, he said that China “was the first time I had actually done a long run” in the dry.
He added: “Any other pilot here has to test Abu Dhabi and try the 2025 tire. I did not do it. When we went to the race in Bahrein, the car broke up, so I actually failed to take a long run on any of the tires.
“So, the sprint race was the first time I actually made a period of 20 rpm on the rubber.
“And then, in the race, it was the first time I had ever tried the C2 (composed). So, I was just learning it during the race.
“It is not enough for you and you know what it will do. Surely I feel like I was starting to feel the next effect of not being able to take the test at the end of the year.”
