Japanese Grand Prix: Max Verstappen says that his response on social media to Liam Liam Lawson Demotion “speaks for himself”

Lawson struggled to deal with the rebel management of the Red Bull car.

He qualified 18th for the Australian Grand Prix who opened the season and lasts both the sprint and the main Grand Prix in China and was unable to make significant progress in any of the races.

Red Bull relegated him because they felt they were in a spiral from which he could not recover.

Verstappen explained the characteristics that Lawson had led to fight.

“It is difficult because, I mean, for me, this is the only car I know, right?” Verstappen said.

“But I think from what I see out there, it’s a little more nervous, a little more, I would say, unstable in different corner phases, perhaps. Well, perhaps (of) some others of my teammates was used to before.

“Some pieces, of course, are clearly faster where they come, but only putting everything together is probably a little more difficult.”

Tsunoda said he was in the “best situation ever” to make his debut for Red Bull at the Japanese Grand Prix of this weekend.

“I can’t wait,” he said. “I can’t be crazy than this – First race for Red Bull Racing, but moreover, Home Grand Prix.”

When asked about Red Bull’s ruthless explanation of Lawson, Tsunoda said: “For me at least it was brutal enough when they chose Liam on me at the end of last season.

“We understand, I am sure that Liam understands, how situations can change quickly within our structure.”

Tsunoda said he guided Red Bull in the simulator and was confident that he could make a strong impression.

“I heard the car in the simulator,” he said. “I’m sure it’s not completely correlated but it wasn’t crazy complicated.”

Tsunoda said he had “great trust” that he could do a good job.

He added: “I’m not saying that I trust in performing immediately as Max, but I trust that I can do something different from the other drivers who have been in that car.

“If I had no confidence, I could also stay in the racing bulls. But I want to have a challenge.”
