Lebron James defends the clash with Stephen A. Smith in Pat McAfee Show Interview

The Superstar of Los Angeles Lakers Lebron James faced his comparison on the sidelines with the commentator Espn Stephen A. Smith Wednesday for the first time their interaction of March 6th.
“At the moment it’s a Taylor Swift tour right now”, James He said in “The Pat McAfee Show”.
During a timeout in the second half of the victory of the extraordinary 113-109 of the Lakers on the New York Knicks, James faced Smith, who was sitting on the sidelines with the CEO of Endeavour Ari Emanuel and the actor/comedian Larry David near the Lakers bench.
According to Smith, who claimed to be reluctant to face the situation until he became viral on social media, James said to him: “Stop doing with my son”. Since then Smith has made several interviews that discussed the interaction with James, including the “weak” call and “some bulls – T” on Podcast “Gil’s Arena”.
James rejected on Wednesday, stating that Smith, one of the largest sports media stars, had fun publicly milking the interaction.
“It started with” I didn’t want to face it, “said James.” “” I wouldn’t have faced him. But since the video came out, I feel the need to face it. “M— – F -, are you making fun of me?
The tension seemed to derive for just over a month earlier, when Smith was critical of Bronny James after going without a score in 15 minutes in a defeat on the road 118-104 against the Philadelphia 76ers on January 28th.
“I’m pleading Lebron James as a father: stop,” Smith said in “First take” the next morning. “Stop. We all know that Bronny James is in the NBA because of his father.”
Smith also questioned the nature of public confrontation, grabbing the fact that James could have talked to him privately, but chose not to do it. “Lebron James knows how to get in touch with me if he wanted,” Smith said on March 7th. “He never called.”
James said on Wednesday that Smith “completely missed the entire point” of why he faced him and what his problem is with him.
“I would never have allowed people to talk about this sport, criticize players of what they do on the pitch,” James said to McAfee. “This is your task to criticize or be in a position in which, ok, if a boy does not perform, this is all part of the game. It’s all part of the game. But when you take it and becomes personal, it is my job not only to protect my damned family, but protect the players. And I think a lot about the media, including him – and I know it will be happy.
“He will smile from one ear to the other when he heard me talk about him again. He will return home and take some ice cream from the freezer and will sit on the chair with his whities tight on the sofa. How, as, as, relax, fr. How, relax. How, seriously.”
