Legacy Motor Club suits Rick Ware Racing for the purchase of the Nasting Card that went wrong

Legacy Motor Club integrated a cause Tuesday against Rick Ware Racing while the two teams of the Nascar Cup Series collide for a purchase of charter go wrong.
According to the cause, the inheritance is looking for a temporary restrictive order to complete the transaction of an RWR card (which is similar to a franchise in other sports).
Legacy said the teams met on January 6 to conclude an agreement and signed it on March 3 after accepting the payment terms. The exact data were not publicly disclosed, but the charters were sold in evaluations up to $ 40 million. And now, says the inheritance, RWR has cold feet.
“Despite having a binding agreement in progress, RWR wants to retire,” said the suit. “He told Legacy that he will not close, in no case, the transaction of the parties. Legacy has tried to speak of meaning in RWR, unnecessarily. Legacy’s patience is over. Now he brings this cause to enforce his rights and keep RWR to his agreement.”
According to multiple sources that are familiar with the cause but not authorized to speak publicly, the controversy focuses on the times of when the card would have been transferred from RWR to Legacy, which is owned by the seven -time champion of the Jimmie Johnson cup series. It is said that RWR had the impression that the agreement would come into force for 2027, but the inheritance changed the year in 2026 without communicating to the owners of the team or other RWR representatives who had done so.
It was only after Ware signed the contract that became aware of the change on the transfer date, after which RWR communicated to the inheritance the agreement was off.
Legacy did not agree, noting in the case: “Not only the parties signed the agreement, initially initial every page for a good measure. In fact, the agreement of the parties (drawn up) was clear by almost the start of the negotiations of the parties”.
In addition, the deposit stated, the position of RWR is “denied both by the simple text of the agreement and from the contemporary written communications that surround the negotiations of the parties”.
Much of the suit is strongly drawn up, leaving further unclear specifications in this moment in addition to titles such as “Legacy discovers the truth” and “RWR has cold feet”.
A request for comment from RWR was not immediately returned. Legacy said that her longtime policy is not to publicly discuss contractual or commercial relationships.
The Nascar refused to comment on the matter.
The Nascar has 36 charter, each of which provides a guaranteed entrance in all Cup series races. Charter teams earn millions of dollars of money for bags, which is distributed by the media rights agreements of $ 7.7 billion in the Nascar with Fox Sports, NBC Sports, Amazon and Warner Brothers Discovery.
