Luke Davies-Uniack Shuns Rival offers to sign a seven-year extension with North Melbourne Kangaroos


The north midfielder Melbourne Luke Davies-Unckke has avoided huge offers from rival clubs to engage in Roos for the rest of his career.

The twenty -five year old, who was out of contract and who becomes one of the most free agents of the game, signed an extension of the seven -year contract that will hold him in Arden Street until the end of 2032.

Collingwood, Geelong and St Kilda will all remain disappointed by the Ri-Firma of Davies-Uunke, with all three clubs showing interest in the stellar midfielder, who won his first best and most just last season.

His commitment to North Melbourne is a significant Filip for the club when considering that choice n. 4 of 2017 only played in 22 out of 112 games.

“Luke is a very important and much loved member of our game group, so making him sign for another seven years is brilliant news for us and our supporters,” said Brady Rawlings Brady Rawlings in a note.

“His long -term commitment despite the significant interest by other clubs is also a fantastic show of trust in our program and in the future of the club.

“At 25, Luke has a lot of great football still in front of him and we can’t wait to see him deliver it here to North Melbourne.”
