“When you are in front of the opposition fans, your poor shape comes to mind every time you touch the ball and sometimes you need rest.
“It is a good manage of man to put him around him and say: ‘Look that you are still my number one goalkeeper, but at the moment you are not playing at the levels where I want you to play – I will take you out, whether it’s one, two or three games’.”
